Description

This 1:12 scale DIY kit is a bed box from the Dutch renaissance.
You can find this particular bed box in ''The castle of good hope''. This is a fortress build by the Dutch in the 17th century. In the last picture you can see the full size bedbox in the interior of the castle.

I have made this bedbox for the Rembrandt House project. We (me and some other Dutch miniaturists) made the complete house of Rembrandt in miniature.

The DIY kit is made from unpainted mdf.
It is easy to assemble and comes with an English building guide with pictures.

Size: wxhxd=173x191x82mm /6,8x7,5x3,2 inch

(This is not an alcove bed: The difference between a bed box and an alcove bed is that a bed box can be moved. An alcove bed is fixed in the interior.)
