This fireplace backplate dates from the Renaissance.
The cast iron back plate protected the rear of the fire pit and radiates heat into the room.
The 1:12 DIY kit contains the backplate, fire rack and the fire dogs. (So everything in the picture)
It makes your fireplace complete.
The 1:12 DIY kit has a wrought iron look but it is made from mdf. Just paint it black (Use just a litle bit of paint to create the rusty surface).
The kit is so easy to assemble it comes without a building description.
The engravings are made with a laser.
