Description

I made this heater especially for the Rembrandthouse project.
Together with some other Dutch miniaturists I made the complete Rembrandthouse in miniature. This dollhouse can be seen in the Rembrandthouse Museum in Amsterdam.

This heater can be found in the painting room of Rembrandt. It was an expensive object in the Renaissance, but Rembrandt had it because an open fireplace would influence the paints he used.

The heater has at the front and sides reliëfs with biblical scenes.

This miniature is a DIY kit and comes with a building guide.
All you need is some glue and black paint.
The kit is made from unpainted mdf.

Size: dxwxh=60x36x95mm / 2,4x1,4x3,7 inch
