Description
The design of this miniature umbrella stand is based on a design made by Alvar Aalto in 1936.
In this design you see the bend wood typical for Aalto's work back than (and still in contemporary Scandinavian design.)
This umbrella stand is a DIY kit and scaled 1:12.
The kit is easy to build, it comes with a (minimal) English building guide with pictures.
All you need is some glue, paint and a sanding paper.
The kit is made from unpainted mdf.
